  • CSU Daycare (website)

    • This is a drop-in service; the daily service consists of three four-hour periods: Morning (9h-13h); Daytime (13h-17h); Evening (17h-21h).

    • It is located at 1424 Rue Bishop.

    • Cost / Funding: For one child, the rate is $25/periods; for two children, the rate is $35/period. Parents must also provide their own diapers CREW will reimburse parents for use of this service.

  • Atwater Pantry (website)

    • 24/7, no barrier, free outdoor pantry

    • Location: 2111 Atwater Ave, Montreal, Quebec H3H 1X8

    Food Against Fascism(FAF) (website)

    • Provides vegetarian meals, drinks, essential supplies such as feminine hygiene products, hats and gloves, etc.

    • Location: Galt St. and Wellington St. in Verdun every Saturday, 12-2pm

    NDG Food Not Bombs (website)

    • Free food every Saturday, 1pm-2pm

    • Location: Place Charles-Este, Av. Notre-Dame-de-Grâce, Montréal, QC H4B 1M6

    Sankofa Farming Cooperative (website)

    • Student-run garden providing organic fruits and vegetables to Black-Indigenous communities in need

    • Location: Hingston Hall residence, Loyola Campus

    • How to apply: Connect through social media to coordinate times to pick up fresh produce for free

    People’s Potato Emergency Food Baskets (website)

    • No registration, freely accessible emergency food baskets distributed by The People’s Potato, a non-profit, worker-run vegan soup kitchen. First-come, first-serve on specific dates until supplies are exhausted.

    Community Cravings Pantry (website)

    • Freely accessible community fridge with vegetables provided by Cultivation, a solidarity cooperative of urban farmers, and managed by the Concordia Student Union.

    Le Frigo Vert (website)

    • Community space located near St. George Williams Campus that offers a subsidized grocery store, in addition to free harm reduction, gender and sexuality supplies.

    • Location: 1440 Rue Mackay, Montreal, Quebec H3G 2H9. Open Monday to Thursday, 12-6pm.

    The Open Door Montreal (website)

    • Offers essential support for people experiencing housing insecurity in Montreal. Free meals, clothing, etc.

    • Location: 3535 Avenue du Parc, Montreal, Quebec, H2X 2H8

    Concordia Food Coalition (website)

    • Coalition of students, faculty, staff and community members co-creating campus community food sovereignty. Offers a food map illustrating several food and garden locations around Concordia’s St. George Williams Campus.

    Parc-Ex Curry Collective (website)

    • A mutual aid initiative providing food distribution services in Montreal. Community-led project that provides financial support for asylum seekers in Parc-Extension by hiring them as chefs.

    Gurdwara Guru Nanak Darbar (website)

    • The gurdwara hosts a langar, which is open all day to the public, and serves a vegetarian meal of curries and bread.

  • Black Healing Fund (website)

    • Provides discretionary funds for low-income Black people in the Montreal area for therapy and other mental health or healing-focused resources

    • List of Black and BIPOC therapists and healers who offer healing services/classes/products to people in Montreal area available

    • Funding Amount: Funding offered in $500 or $1000 amounts

    Pride Therapy Network of Montreal (website)

    • Provides financially accessible therapy for members of sexual and gender diverse communities through a collective of independent mental health practitioners.

    • Costs: Sliding scale; reduced fee spots offered at $40/session

  • Médécins du monde (website)

    • Provides free and confidential healthcare for young girls and women, people experiencing housing insecurity, displaced persons and refugees, and migrants with precarious status

    • An alliance of community herbalists, medicine makers, gardeners, and activists providing support through herbal medicine, knowledge sharing, and herbal consultations to vulnerable and precarious communities.

    • Health and dental plan provider for Concordia students. Offers mental health support, legal assistance, and virtual health care options.

  • TRAPs MTL (website)

    • Provides financial support to transfeminine people experiencing precarity in Montreal ; applications open to trans women and transfeminized people with urgent needs without access to stable and sufficient income.

    • Offers free legal information and referrals to refugees

    • Created and operated by the Concordia Student Union. Provides legal information and referrals to Concordia students.

    Immigrant Workers Centre (website)

    • Provides a safe and confidential space for vulnerable workers to speak freely and question their working conditions, in addition to offering legal information clinics on labour and related immigration issues.
